They Walked Over an Hour to Get to Church,

Hey fam! wow what a week.....i feel like I can honestly say this was probably one of the most humbling weeks of my mission. This morning we all went out to the building site again and had a blast. We got to knock down some walls and then we all went and just started playing with the hoard of kids that came to watch. Man that was a blast running around with them being a complete goof ball. The sisters were trying to teach primary songs but it faded pretty fast but man i could play with those kids all day.
The project, though, has been a huge public relations hit and we had a number of people come to church this week because of the work we are doing there. Some of them don't even speak English they still came...and walked over an hour to come. We also were hosting some theology students from the African Bible College who came for a research of the church so that was a interesting experience with them.
We had a powerful lesson with a young man who is incredible but had been caught up trying to look for proof for some of the things we were teaching him. After stalling and going in circles for awhile finally the member we where with who is a return missionary asked him if he believed that we were ordained with priesthood and if The Book of Mormon was true. After his response he gave the boldest testimony i've ever heard and told him to read and pray. That night I had the impression that I needed to show him more love. When we went back he was different. All his questions went away, all his concerns where answered and we had a great time together in a meeting that was full of love.Man........that was a powerful lesson.
Im ready to change and continue in the joy of this amazing place far from the so called tragedies and injustices of a country that is blessed beyond measure to be here in a place that actuality has heart.  Don't worry about me here i'll be fine.
So, we were leaving our area the other night and it was late, raining and we where having trouble finding a bus. So i just started to flag any passing car. (dont worry if people drive cars here there not the crazy ones) anyway finally I hear a horn and see headlight coming to me and i'm like yes where saved. I move around to greet the driver and who is it? The freaking sisters laughing at our plight. (they cant drive elders). man i was so done but luckily we still found a bus.
so lots of love from me to you
